Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Responsibility

At Hudson Nordic, we have the pleasure of working with people every single day and we make a point of meeting each individual at eye level and with presence. We take the time to ensure that our processes are tailored to the needs of both the organization and the individual – and we want to be the best when it comes to attracting, assessing and developing people.

We know that as a company we have a great responsibility to support sustainable and social development. We prioritize creating good initiatives that are all based on the 17 SDGs and our competencies. The SDGs are 17 concrete goals that commit all 193 UN member states to completely eradicate poverty and hunger in the world, reduce inequality, ensure good education, better health for all, decent jobs and more sustainable economic growth. We fight for the rights of all people and have a special focus on gender equality in our social work.

NGUVU

Gender equality in Kenya

NGUVU, means ‘strength’ in Swahili. NGUVU is also the name of a Kenyan-based NGO that Hudson Nordic has been given the opportunity to support. Headquartered in Nairobi, NGUVU helps vulnerable women grow and sell coffee beans with decent working conditions and at a good price.

NGUVU aims to create a sustainable and healthy coffee business so that the women who work for them have the opportunity to create a better life for themselves and their children. NGUVU ensures good prices by selling the coffee beans without the otherwise costly middlemen.

The important thing for NGUVU is thus to ensure their employees a permanent job, decent working conditions and professional development. In collaboration with the local organization Rziski, they work to create long-term positive changes for the women, and thus also for their families.

Welcome Home

Supporting veterans

VELKOMMEN HJEM was founded by a number of companies that want to support veterans by highlighting how military skills and experience can be brought into play in the civilian business world.

The goal is to support the veteran in a good and realistic transition from the military to the civilian labor market. This can be achieved through a well-designed program that focuses on identifying the veteran’s skills and matching them with a mentor from a private company. The aim is to ensure that the transition from military to civilian is smooth and that you get started in a job that matches your skills and interests.

LMS

The Danish Association Against Eating Disorders and Self-Harm

LMS is dedicated to supporting, strengthening, and guiding individuals affected by eating disorders and self-harm. They provide assistance to those in need, as well as their families and professionals, offering expert counseling, knowledge-sharing, and tailored educational programs.

At Hudson Nordic, we believe in contributing where we can make a difference. To support LMS, we donated an assessment process for the recruitment of their next communications and fundraising director, ensuring strong leadership to help LMS expand its impact.
