Electronic Category Manager to Pascal A/S

Deadline: 19. january 2026

Electronic Category Manager, Pascal

Strategic sourcing and category management for high-end amplifier electronics

On behalf of Pascal, the world’s leading provider of professional amplifier electronics, we are looking for an Electronic Category Manager with strong technical insight and a strategic sourcing experience.

Pascal develops advanced ODM amplifier modules for some of the most demanding pro-audio brands globally. To support continued growth and ensure access to the right technologies and suppliers, you will take a key role in shaping Pascal’s global electronics supply base.

As part of Global Sourcing within Operations, you will secure best-in-class electronic and magnetic components, mature and scale the supplier landscape, and build a robust procurement setup that supports both R&D and global manufacturing across China, North America, and Europe.

The role is based at Pascal’s headquarters in Herlev, Copenhagen.

Secure technology access, supplier performance, and scalability

The job includes end-to-end ownership of your categories. This includes heading supplier selection and development, ensuring timely access to new technologies, and building a scalable multisourcing setup that supports innovation, cost efficiency, and stable supply. You will be part of a small, hands-on Global Sourcing team consisting of the Director of Sourcing, a Mechanics Category Manager, and you in the role of Electronics Category Manager. You will report directly to the Director of Sourcing and own your area end to end.

The role blends strategic category leadership with hands-on execution. You will work closely with R&D through the NPI processes, acting as the main interface toward suppliers and distributors, where you secure material readiness from prototypes to mass production.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and lead Pascal’s electronic and magnetic component categories.
  • Select, evaluate, and develop suppliers, ensuring the right balance of cost, quality, performance, technology roadmap, and scalability.
  • Guide R&D during NPI processes to ensure robust multi-supplier setups and competitive cost.
  • Act as primary link between product development and suppliers, ensuring material readiness for prototypes, pre-production and ramp-up.
  • Implement strategic procurement processes that enhance supply resilience and cost optimisation.
  • Drive yearly cost-target negotiations, run RFQ cycles, issue LOAs to CM/EMS partners, and lead ongoing supplier performance reviews (including KPIs and contract updates).
  • Track market and technology trends and influence design decisions early.
  • Serve as escalation point for supplier issues and support Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Travel internationally for up to four weeks per year.

Strong technical insight and global sourcing experience

You combine a technical understanding with strong commercial and analytical capabilities, where you thrive in a role influencing both supplier strategy and product development. In your stakeholder management, you confidently work with relations across R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Your qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or similar), combined with strong business acumen.
  • Solid experience in category/commodity management within an international manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong network within electronic components and suppliers.
  • Experience collaborating closely with R&D and technology-driven suppliers.
  • Structured working style with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Pascal offers more than just a job

In this role, you will directly influence the technologies and supplier partnerships that shape Pascal’s future products and global supply chain performance. You will join a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment where colleagues support one another — and where your expertise contributes to both operational excellence and ongoing innovation.

  • Take ownership of a key strategic commodity area that directly impacts scalability and product performance.
  • Build strong partnerships with world-class suppliers and collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, and Quality.
  • Join a culture defined by openness, teamwork, and high professional standards.
  • Enjoy flexible ways of working in an informal, supportive environment.
